Director of Public Relations at Mercury Marine

Lee Gordon spends most of his working days on a boat (no really) but he is responsible for internal and external communications as it pertains to the brand of the company. He also acts as a company spokesperson when dealing with the media which is ideal because Lee was a television anchor for 15 years at CBS and FOX affiliates in Florida. Lee was also a sideline reporter for the NFL on FOX, tasked with asking questions to coaches and players twice his size and trying not to get tackled on the field.

In his spare time, Lee is a media trainer for corporate executives and athletes teaching them on-camera skills (don’t drool on camera) and how to not screw up your life on social media–which many athletes try very hard to accomplish. Lee also does the SportsCenter update on ESPN Radio 97.9FM each day in Florida and is a husband and father to two amazing kids who may or may not tag along on this trip to IZEA Fest.
